Member Biography
Mr. Pete Patel is the CEO and President of Chiang, Patel & Yerby, Inc. (CP&Y) Mr. Patel has been with the firm since December 1981. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas and has more than thirty three years of experience in the development of infrastructure projects in Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona, Puerto Rico and inter-nationally in China, India and Taiwan. Mr. Patel graduated in 1973 with a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso. His past experience includes eight years with URS Forest & Cotton; Dallas, Texas and two years with Texas Instruments; Dallas, Texas. Mr. Patel is active in several professional engineering societies that include IEEE, ASCE,ACEC, AWWA, and WEF. Mr. Patel is also a member of the Department of Commerce's District Export Council of North Texas, and an advisory board member for the Greater Dallas Asian American Chamber of Commerce.
