The Greater Dallas Chamber is a 97-year old business and economic development organization serving 12 counties on the east side of the DFW Metroplex. The focus of the Chamber is economic development, policy advocacy and member services. The Greater Dallas Chamber is one of the
few Chamber organizations with dedicated international staff. The staff focuses on assisting the regions businesses to export, recruiting foreign direct investment and promoting the region internationally. As a City/State partner of the U.S. Export Credit Agency, called the Ex-Im Bank, the Chamber provides assistance to North Texas companies in the financing of their export sales. There is also an office of the US Department of commerce inside
the Chamber with a senior trade specialist accessible to all Chamber members interested in counseling.
