Description:
Recent high–profile prosecutions of U.S. companies for foreign bribery and similar charges have merely added another compliance layer for U.S. exporters. The U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act brings numerous perils to the table of compliance concerns of which export managers need be aware. Many exporters have little or no familiarity with the FCPA or often lack understanding of just what is their exposure to FCPA risks. Regardless of the extent of such exposure, effective management of those risks is critical for all exporters.

This seminar will help you understand how the FCPA works in practice and how to practically manage your FCPA exposure and risks. Included will be such topics as:

     •
Various exposures to FCPA risks
     • FCPA pitfalls and war stories
     • Trends in FCPA enforcement
     • Managing facilitation payment risks
     • Managing third party risks
     • Managing FCPA investigations
     • Managing FCPA risks from an in-house perspective

The presenters are all either practitioners or managers who are experienced in FCPA matters from both a governmental and private sector perspective. Do not miss out on this opportunity to learn in one day how you can effectively respond to this increasing challenge of FCPA compliance.
