Member Biography
Mark Hagen is the coordinator of international programs at the Alamo Community College District, where he works closely with students and faculty who wish to travel overseas as part of their educational experience. Prior to the ACCD, Mark worked in international banking with the Wells Fargo HSBC Trade Bank and its predecessor, Norwest Bank. He holds a bachelor's degree in Spanish and Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a master's degree in international management from Thunderbird: the Garvin School of International Management in Glendale, AZ. Mark is married to Silvia and has two daughters, Alyssa and Kristen.

The Alamo Community College District serves the Bexar County community through its programs and services that help students succeed in acquiring the knowledge and skills needed in today's world. The four colleges - San Antonio, St. Philip's, Palo Alto and Northwest Vista - offer associate degrees, certificates and licensures in occupational programs that prepare students for jobs, as well as arts and science courses that transfer to
four-year colleges and universities and lead to AA and AS degrees. The Alamo Community College District serves 88,000 students in credit courses each year. An additional 18,000 students enroll in continuing education programs each semester.
