Member Biography
Ed Einstein is a San Antonio-based attorney working in the area of United States-Latin American business transactions. Fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, he has been active for over 25 years throughout the hemisphere, particularly with Mexico and Brazil. A frequent author and lecturer, Mr. Einstein has a bachelors degree in International Economics from the University of Wisconsin and earned his law degree from the University of Texas.
He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Florida Bar and the United States Court of International Trade. He has also been active in technology and intellectual property matters in the Inter-American Bar Association, the Computer Law Association and the National Law Center for
Inter-American Free Trade. He is a former President of the San Antonio World Trade Association and currently serves as an active Director of the Free Trade Alliance San Antonio.

His practice includes the creation, structuring, and ongoing representation of various types of business entities, both domestic and foreign. In addition to providing legal counsel on day-to-day business matters, he has comprehensive experience in joint ventures, foreign investment, tax planning, complex purchases, licensing, franchising, and high technology legal issues. Ed also counts on an extensive network of other experienced attorneys (including litigation, labor, environmental, oil & gas, transportation, patent, estate planning, and a wide variety of competent foreign lawyers) as well as a number of seasoned accountants, financial, franchise and international consultants.
